The Boat
The Voyager is the end point of North Shore's development series — the Buccaneer, Polar and Ocean line — and Mike Nelson's parting design after forty years of refining what a modern sea kayak should do.
The difference is visible in the chine. It runs soft at the bow, hardens through the middle, then cuts away into wings just behind the hips. That sculpting is what makes the hull fast and stable at the same time, with edging that holds exactly where you put it. A low-profile deck sheds water and keeps windage down, which is what you want when the sea stops cooperating.
What you end up with is the edge control and low windage of a Greenland-style boat, without giving up the speed, load-carrying and rough-water manners of a contemporary design. Four hatches with sealed bulkheads make multi-day loading straightforward. The 16-10 is the lower-volume size; the 17-2 carries more.

The Voyager rewards an experienced paddler. If you haven't paddled one, we strongly recommend a demo before buying — contact us to arrange one at our Hamilton location or at an upcoming clinic.

— Stock kayaks are sold as listed. Colour, layup and fittings are fixed.
— A $500 deposit reserves your hull. The balance is due in full on delivery or collection.
— Prices exclude HST.
— All-in pricing: shipping from the factory to our Hamilton facility — including marine insurance, brokerage, and customs clearance — is included in the price shown. Onward delivery within Canada is quoted separately on request.
